Quiet Desperation.

So, uh, hi new people.

A lot of people have made assumptions in the past about what my personal blog is, and I just wanted to get this out there so that you guys and gals know what to expect from me.

Here’s some fun facts about my blogging style (That’s right, new peeps— I’m doing this just for you!)

1. My blog follows the “Whatever the Fuck I Wanna Post” tradition. Hence it being my “Personal Blog”. I have an even more personal one that no one knows the URL of, but for the purpose of having a public face, this is the me you’re seeing.
2. I’m pretty fucking hilarious. I also pretend to be full of myself, but that’s part of me being so fucking hilarious. It’s kind of a chicken and egg situation.
3. I probably have over 600 reaction .gifs on my computer, and I love them all.
4. I generate my own stuff a lot of times. I’m not one of those “pure reblogging” blogs.
5. I’m stubborn as hell and very rude to anons (unless they’re saying nice things)
6. I have a lot of beliefs that I stand strongly behind. 
7. I’m a very political person. I’m just not retarded about it, so whatever you identify yourself as being, I will either seriously offend you (if you think politics are black and white, democrat or republican) or make some sense, regardless of whether or not you agree with me (if you also think that politics are much more grey and ambiguous, like I do).
8. I’m not much of a fangirl, unless we’re talking about Pokemon. 

And, uh, I think that about covers it.

Uh so……..

I’ve noticed that I’ve gained quite a few followers today, probably from that typography post.

So…… hi! 

I’m Melissa. 

I wanna say a little about myself, but……… I guess I should just start with: 

1. I can come off as a snarky bitch sometimes, especially with rude anons.

2. I can also come off as a bit conceited. This isn’t for real, though. Its an act.

3. I’m generally a nice person, and I like making new friends. So stop by my ask box! :3

4. I answer almost every question, unless I get two at the same time which are almost the same. So, if I don’t answer you on a subject that someone else hasn’t already brought up, chances are that tumblr wouldn’t let me receive your message. 

5. I’m a massive nerd and I love to talk about geeky things like Spider-Man and Pokemon… but I also love to have philosophical, intellectual, and religious discussions too.

6. I go through phases. Sometimes I reblog a lot of random shit. Sometimes I talk about the same thing for a few posts. Sometimes I reblog things in a specific topic. I even make a lot of my own original posts.

• philosophical rants about religious tolerance and liberal politics

• contributing evidence to my insanity (includes all of the above)
